Michael P. Strobeck Jr.

Michael P. “Ogre” Strobeck, Jr., 32, of Blossvale, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 9, 2015. He was born May 3, 1982 in Rome, the son of Michael Strobeck, Sr. and Elizabeth Vredenburg.

Mike worked at the Crazy Clam in Sylvan Beach for several years.

He was a diehard New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox fan.

He was a son, brother, uncle and so much more to those fortunate enough to know him. He was a gentle giant whose love of family and friends knew no bounds.

A kind hearted soul taken far too soon. Words can never describe the loss we all feel, but the memories will last forever. We love you, Ogre.

He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Vredenburg and her boyfriend, Danny Delles, Blossvale; a sister, Terri Strobeck and her boyfriend, Tim Devine, Canastota; three brothers, Thomas DePault and his girlfriend, Kass Graves, Camden, Logan Blowers, Blossvale, and Jordan Blowers and his girlfriend, Mel Reynolds, Oneida; his maternal grandfather, John Vredenburg, Blossvale; nieces, Trinity,Lexi, and Kindrid, and nephew, Avery and many more friends.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Nunn and Harper Funeral Home., Inc., 9464 State Rt. 13, Camden.
